Rapper Talley of 300 was born Montelle Talley in Peoria, Illinois in 1986 and grew up in the Chicago area. In high school he met Walter Bradford (aka Montana), and with other friends they began making music as 300, taking their name from a film. After a few years of collaborative work, Talley and Montana both splintered off into solo work, Montana first offering a solo mixtape in 2014 and the two of them working together the next year on the Gunz n Roses mixtape. Talley followed up with a completely solo mixtape entitled Thanksgiving, released on Thanksgiving Day in 2016. In February of 2017 he rejoined his fellow 300 collaborators Montana, Don D, $avage, and Jalyn Sanders to release No Surrender No Retreat, a proper full-length of the drill-infused rap style they’d been working on together for years.
“Love,” by Talley Of 300 displays the versatility of the vibrant Hip Hop artist. Giving a Smooth, Loving, yet Street vibe with a cross between R&B and Hard Core Rap… Reassuring the female audience, that there are still strong men who understands the wants and needs.
