With a sound reminiscent of a modern-day Nancy Sinatra meets Adele, this Los Angeles-based siren is on the edge of becoming a household name. Having released powerhouse singles debuting all over the media, there are exciting things on the horizon for this alt-pop rising star originally from Texas.
Having been heavily influenced by Nancy Sinatra, Johnny Cash, and David Bowie, BELLSAINT began polishing her craft and earned her stripes writing for other artists, including Natalie Imbruglia and The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue. In time, she collaborated with legendary composers like Giorgio Moroder (Daft Punk) & Paul Williams (David Bowie, Daft Punk) and had songs placed in a Volkswagen Super Bowl commercial, ADIDAS commercial, as well as popular TV shows like Riverdale, Shameless, The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, NBC’s Rise, The Vampire Diaries, NBC’s Titan Games, Pretty Little Liars, Famous in Love, and Tyler Perry’s box office hit Boo 2! A Madea Halloween.
Here is what BELLSAINT had to say about her cover of Auld Lane Syne “The year 2018 has been full of life & career changes for me, including marrying my best friend of 6 years. In February, I spoke out about my #metoo experience & some dark hardships. “Auld Lang Syne” is a song I’ve sung every year with friends at New Years Eve parties, but it took on a new meaning this year. I wanted to record it in my own style/voice. It represents remembering the past without shame & regret, even the dark times, because they gave more empathy & strength. This song means a lot to me, & I’m looking forward to what is around the corner in the new year.
This music video was edited by me with real-life footage from my childhood and public domain footage that influenced me and my 2 sisters growing up in Tyler, Texas. I’m the middle of 3 sisters, and we’re very close bc of some of the darkness and hardships we’ve been through together. This music video is dedicated to them.”
Check it out.
