Juan Minatta is a 19-year-old singer and songwriter from Argentina. In 2019, he began his musical journey by releasing a cover of the popular Christmas song “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, which was included in multiple official Vevo playlists, such as “Fresh Music Friday” and “Christmas: Pop and EDM”.
Then, six months later, he released his first official single titled “Run Away” on July 16, 2020. The track has a subtle hypnotic power and ultimately invites introspection. It was written in May 2019 by himself and singer/songwriter Katelyn Clampett. However, it wasn’t until June 2020 when the final version of the song was recorded, which was produced by Gonzalo Ferreyra, who has worked with artists such as Nicki Nicole.
Currently, with over 120,000 streams on his latest single, Juan is working on new studio material, with influences in Pop, Alternative and EDM. This next project seeks to explore new musical and conceptual horizons, and will be released next year under Backbeat Records, the label he founded with Ludaca and Micaela Blue in 2021.
